Founded and capitalized in 1988, B&D Associate Representatives is a New York based manufacturers’ representative company that offers world class products for the electronics and tech industry
- We also maintain a separate division dedicated to sourcing the most innovative companies for placement into large catalogue houses. These catalogue houses offer access to worldwide markets through their web based marketing and international exposure. Our principals have experienced a rapid growth in sales with this marketing channel, proving to be highly successful

- We have negotiated a number of key multi-million dollar contracts for our principals
- We’ve represented military and defense manufacturers for many years and have an extensive military customer base in the New York metro and upstate NY areas
- We market our products by looking at our customer’s current projects, and contacting the engineers who specify by matching our manufacturers’ products to their needs. To complete the process, the buyer is contacted to include our principals on the “buy card” for repeat business

We assist our manufacturers in providing RFQ’s to our customers. Certain manufacturers give us access to confidential price lists where we can supply information directly. In other cases we work closely with our suppliers to get price quotes back to our customers quickly

We are a provider of Mil specified and QPL parts used in National Defense for a wide variety of applications such as missiles, radar, marine vessels, land vehicles, and communications systems

The same technical service is offered to commercial customers for computers, automation controls, lighting, audio/video, security, medical devices, and scanners
Industrial
We serve the industrial and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) markets, working with their engineering and purchasing to supply components parts that are integrated into their design builds. This includes rail, energy production, alternate energy, distribution systems, mining equipment, and communications systems
Distribution
B&D sells to and helps distributors stock and promote shared manufacturer’s products to the general marketplace. Our distributors carry quality military and commercial electronic components. They simplify the procurement process of hard to find parts while ensuring product authenticity
